"braveerhund!" -dachshund german command of the day "good dog!"
Update: 1/20/2012: Kennel Reduction..Relocation to St.Joseph, MO.
See below for selection and current pricing-i will be starting the kennel
back up again in about 8-12 months at my new location. Sorry but
puppies do not usually sell this low. I normally average $400 for females,
$300 males. So, if you want a dachshund, this is the best time. I have only
had 1 /50 pups with a slight allergy, excellent health and pedigrees.
All puppies recieve vet check between 5 1/2 and -8 weeks, current vacs, to that point, wormer,
and all necessary health checks. I will let u know ahead of time If i feel anything is to be addressed
or is of concern.I will not accept deposits of less than $150 I do NOT accept personal checks! I Do NOT SHIP,
meeting arrangement could be arranged, possibly with a nominal fee.All Vaccinations complete saving you l
ots of $$$$ Health/Vet Checked full AKC (compare at other tiny micro-mini's $700+). Please note you can not breed for size and comfirmation both, but I am
breeding dogs with champion pedigrees. Your paying for a good quality breeder, plus your getting discounts since
they have their vet bills covered. We have gotten to know they do have sweet personalites...bitter-
honey sweet!!! *** a micro is a occasional smaller dachshund under 8 lbs at full growth, some
could be as low as 6 lbs. Not all my dogs are micros.

I am lisc. in KY.
Past Puppies of Spring 2010:
12/12/10: I got an email and pic of a blk/tan Dasha I sold here. She was getting along just well, healthy and her
mommy just loves her.
10/12/2010: Michael went to his new mom today, here in Paducah. She stated she thought" her and Michael would do just fine".
Her dachshund of 14 years passed, until she saw him she was unsure if she was ready for another dog, and thought it would be
easier to have an older puppy....I think he had her at "hello"...
7/1/2010: Puppy update...owner emailed picture of puppy from last liter... light colored "cookie" went to Chicago.
She emailed to say shes doing great and she named her Daisy Mae, and they are so happy with their puppy!-amber
6/29/2010: Puppy udate...dark choc "pooh" last liter..."owner named her emelia and is loving her new puppy!
4/10/10: Puppy update: "blue" puppy...black/tan dapple female "owner named "Daise" , reported their bond was so strong, and she loved
snuggling with her, she got along so well with their other dogs. Thanked me for providing her with such a good puppy.
3/1/10: Puppy update: blk/tan female smooth hair . Owner named "chloe", really loves her new puppy, she plans to possibly
breed her and puppy is loving new home in Indiana.
3/19/10: Puppy update: "pink" puppy renamed "Dancia", younger couple fell in love with her. Puppy was so frisky, as tiny as
she was tried to take on their big dogs, hehe, but soon relaxed and everyone was reportedly doing fine and settled in after
the first 24hrs. They really love their new spunky little girl.
3/27/10: Puppy update: "Cinderella", light choc female long hair. , her new mommy named her "Dehlia", she reported that all her
friends love her, and she stood under her when she got ready for work in the mornings, getting make-up all over her, and she
loved it....she's a glamour puppy!
4/11/10: Two of my girls went to a daycare center home, now named "Princess" and "Olivia" , they are getting along well with
all their new kids! They are very much loved.
6/16/09: "TJ"- got response back from owner that she thought maybe the puppy had a worm. I offered to give her wormer medication,
she reported she wanted to take it to the vet for vet check and I told her to report back to me any bad findings, and we would go from
there...but i heard nothing back. I hope they got along well.
6/29/09: "Moonshine", I got an email back from Nashville, saying they loved their new puppy sooooo much, thanking me for such a
sweetie!
7/5/09: "MJ"...His new home was a suberb in Chicago. We met in Effingham. I got a xmas picture back, saying he was such a sweet boy,
and they loved the new addtion to their family, and it cracked the up he groaned (like I said) when he was sleeping, esp if you moved him!
5/27/09: "Griffin" and "Ollie" ...These people loved their little Griffin so much, that 4 mos later they came back and bought another one
to keep him company. Due to having to make a move that didnt allow the dogs, they were devastated. They called and asked me if I
could take them back, they had tried advertising them and needed more time finding them homes. The loved them so much and did not
want to give them up. I placed one as a rescue and kept one that has show potentional to help them out. I often try and keep lists of
good families who want a dachshund but cant afford $300-400 to get one, and if something comes up, I consider them as a potential
home.
10/05/08: "Chewy" , Aka "shotzie" he was the first dachshund puppy I sold. His mommy keeps in contact with me. He had one liter of 7
puppies..he is such a baby, and is the apple of her eye!
9/15/09: "Tojo" formerly "Mike Tyson" met his little ole dream lady...he liked her no doubt and she liked him. She petted him alittle rough,
but why do u think we called him mike tyson? I was going through some old call backs one day, and called the lady that intially contacted me
for her, and she remembered me and said that little old lady "loved that little dog to death!" It was sweet and very fitting! I know he has a
sweet lady taking care of him!!!
3/20/10: "Isis" puppy went to Indiana. This puppy had full vet check and vaccinations, she stubbed her paw a few days prior to them picking
her up, and my vet felt she had no problems, just alittle sore. I tired to get the people to hold off picking her up til the next weekend, because
I didnt want it to be a big deal, and give her some time, but they insisted they could only pick her up that weekend. I allowed it, and they
wanted compensation upfront to take her to their vet, so I took off $50 for vet visit upfront, and allowed a 48 hr return policy on the puppy.
They called back loaded for bear, running all these tests on her, sending tests off to some school in Chicago...saying if anything came back
on the paw or anything they were going to cause me problems, and I felt as if they just wanted a free puppy. I told them I wanted documentation
off all records they got back from there, indicating she wasnt healthy...before I would consider anything else..I was never again contacted. So
I am assuming the records turned out ok. Some people look for things...and my vet was very confident she was healthy, and I think if she wasnt
I would have been made known. I feel bad though they werent satisfied, and hated not leaving open the door for future contact to see how pretty
of a girl she grew into.
8/19/09: "Teddy"..These ppl adopted their "child" here, and named him "Karson". They have been back a couple of times to look at my
puppies, and have always kept me a consideration for future adoption and I apperciate that soo much! They reported that he had the occasional
allergy, and in springtime they had to give him a childrens bendryl once in awhile, but it was controlable.
9/3/09: "Aubry" My beautiful Aubry dazzling choc longhair with copper points and green eyes...she went to a family assisted living home,
shes now a therapy dog with 34 owners to look after this beautiful dog!
6/3/09: "Mercedes", blk/tan I often hear from her mom and see pictures of her. Shes grown into a very beautiful dog, and gets along
very well in her country life in TN, and all her doggie friends, and her mommy just loves her!!
memories of some of the puppies gone....

I also have a 2nd puppy
discount, if you buy more than one from me, or you return
within the year for a sibling!!!! Applies to puppies only
over $300. 2nd puppy is $75 off!
Contract:
Policies: Please NOTE all puppies are subject to change availablity status, even after the
deposit has been made...they are all tiny. Things change and its impossible to forsee every
situation. Although, you have made a deposit you do not OWN the puppy yet.
All puppies require a deposit to be held or reserved. In most cases the deposit is
non-refundable, unless it is on my end, and the puppy would be no longer available due to
health reasons. You could then use that towards another puppy or the puppy deposit would
be returned. I can not forsee every event, however, policy is that the puppy gets the care it
needs and deserves, and it is vet-checked. If you notice a problem with your puppy you can
return it within 48 hours for another puppy that is available. You can decide to take it to your
vet if you want to keep the puppy, however, that does assume some responsiblity on your
part. If your vet feels that the puppy has a life-threatening genetic illness, upon written notice
from him you are to return the puppy to me. I do not want my puppies out their with medical
conditions, and I have that right. The sale is void. If you refuse to return the puppy for
my vet to give second opinion and treatment, then the matter is closed. If the puppy is returned
you have the choice of picking another puppy as soon as it is available or if you really
want the first puppy you bought, you can wait and see if a full recovery is possible. It really
depends on the condition. The puppy is marked as "pet" only depending on the case. I will not
honor full returns/refunds of "possible" illnesses, or routine/minor things. However, you still
are able to bring the puppy back within 48 hrs upon purchase for those minor things. :)
If your puppy is purchased without AKC, but it is AKC-able, and you would like to purchase those
rights later. That is permissible for those wishing to make payments. Note: After 6 mos AKC currently
chargers more. I offer this to people who have to make payments. It breaks the costs down. I
can also accept paypal...often people will put their deposit on debit, and pay the balance when they
come pick up the puppy. I also provide a $50 for returning customers on puppies over $350.
If a puppy is being sold with a very minor flaw: i.e hasnt been fully wormed yet, or it stubbed its
toe...or it dug and left a bald spot....I will make these a "restrictive" sale. All the same return
policies apply, just I note on paperwork. I ask that it be treated, and depending on some situations
I have offered a discount to apply towards that vet visit for you. Again, this depends on the situation,
the treatment needed for the puppy.
I invite people to call me at any time if they are having training issues, or have a situation they just
cant seem to fix. I do not might advising or giving some tips. This is all free to you. I have had many
years of experience with all of different dog situations, and I am very knowledgable about my ,
dachshunds, and I would love to try and help you find a solution, so you don't feel your dog is
a "doggie problem". You can call me anytime throughout the life of your dog for suggestions, if it helps.
You will recieve a puppy packet full of info. Pedigrees, family trees, sample of food, blanket, medical
records, vet papers, treats, welcome letters from AKC, and anything I have pretainig to your puppy. 99%
of the time i have the puppy applications and you get a mountain of papers from me...so you feel like you have
what you need when you walk away. Occasionally, I have a delay from AKC. Yet, I have always
given people their papers, once in awhile, if I have made a mistake I have requested a paper back I
have that done and mailed off to you within days. I do not delay any of the paperwork. If I am waiting
on something from AKC. I give you the confirmation number that I have ordered it, and I give you
the same information that I have, so you can check on it too. In which case, if you wanted to hold of
on paying the AKC portion, you could do that until it arrives. Most of the with time things work out in a
timely manor and I havent had to wait more than a few days to a week. If you happen to lose your
application from me I would have to request a duplicate application and they charge for that, you
would have to pay $25, and I would order it and resend it to you upon reciept.
I am currently learning the shipping procedure. Most of my puppies go so quickly I really haven't had
to do this. The current charge for shipping is $385 (could vary depending on distance and airline).I just
ask for alittle patience in this, since I am new to this procedure and their requirements. I will tell you
upfront, I do not like to ship. I worked for an airline before, and I just really think its too hard on a little
puppy to put them through all of that. I will NOT be responsible for the puppy once it is out of
my hands. I feel that shipping is a risk, and if you want it shipped then that is a risk that you are assuming.
I will provide everything on my end. I will provide you documentatin that I have shipped it, and call you
when I am at the airlines, and see it through. However, I will not guarntee that kind of loss. Should it not
make it (due to mistakes with airline), you will have to consult with them to get what you can back from
the puppy. To be considerate I would refund $100 of your deposit, (with verified proof from airline) Hopefully
between airlines loss payment and my refund that would give you back almost half of the puppy. You
could also choose another puppy ( you would not get the $100 retrun deposit in this case). I would try and
use whatever materials I could from the first puppy's shipping to hopefully cut down the cost of shipping that
second puppy.)
My husband travels alot with his job, and we live in Western KY bordering several states. I have
sometimes driven to meet a customer. (This would defintely be in public setting). I will sometimes offer
to drive and meet if your coming from a long distance. Sometimes this is for a varied fee, depending on
how far. In some cases, my fee for driving 6-8 hrs, if I could do that may be half of the shipping cost of
an airline.
Puppies can not be released without signature of the contract and your willingness to continue to provide
it's care throughout its life. If for any reason you decide to get rid of your dachshund (even as an adult)
I ask you to send me a picture, and let me decide if it can be brought back here, rather than getting into
a rescue situation. My email is ggigi70@hotmail.com
Applying for a Rescue info:
If your looking at this site, and you want a dachshund, but cant afford one. Please call/email me as ask to be
put on my "rescue list". Please provide- Your name and address, contact info. Age of dachshund you would
consider. If there were a rehoming fee what is the highest you would be willing to pay. If you have a
gender/age/color (also AKC/CKC/Purebreed/mixbreed) peference (put ONLY). Please list what pets you have.
If you have small children, and what personality type dachshund do you think would fit into your family. I would like to
know how much vet care your dogs currently recieve. The name/location of your vet. If you plan on a housedog...or if you
have a yard, fence, crates, etc. Also, why you want a one of these dachshunds. How long you have been at your current
residence and if you plan to move soon. If you could attach a pic of you other pets/pet yard...It would help
in me making my decision as rescues become available. please add if you can only consider FREE. Put "apply for rescue" in
subjectline. ggigi70@hotmail.com
